Telephoning me
Before telephoning me, I wish to make you aware that I can only provide legal advice after receiving an email from you setting out full details of your name, the nature of your business, and whether your matter is urgent. Legal advice will then only be provided after I am satisfied that I have no conflict of interest in acting for you and you have signed my Terms and Conditions of Business.
Using my Professional Representative details without consent
If you are outside the European Economic Area and you wish to directly file a European Union Trade Mark (EUTM) and Registered European Union Design (REUD) before the EUIPO, I ask that do not list me as your representative on the application form without my explicit written consent to do so.
Similarly, you should not use my professional details for matters filed directly before the Intellectual Property Office of Ireland and the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office without my explicit written consent.
If I become aware that you have used my Professional Representative details without my consent, I will immediate apply to remove my representation without any prior notice to you. You should be aware that lack of representation in the European Union and the United Kingdom may have adverse consequences for the design or trade mark you are seeking to, or have, registered.
